2026 SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS

Presented by Access Montgomery with the City of Montgomery, Montgomery County Commission, and SBOSS, the Small Business Awards is the city’s premier stage for recognizing the entrepreneurs holding up the local economy. In its second year, we handled the campaign end to end — identity, finalist announcements, countdown content, day-of coverage, and post-event reporting. More than 400 nominations came in and the room sold out at 310. More importantly, Montgomery’s business owners felt seen.

I’m Stephanie Burton Jones, founder and creative director of PR Peach. My career has taken me from journalism and public relations to brand marketing and creative strategy, with experience spanning national nonprofits, Fortune 100 retail and multi-market campaigns.

 

What all of it taught me is that the strongest communications rarely start with a deliverable. They start with understanding what matters—and what needs to happen next.

 

I founded PR Peach in 2017, and for its first five years the studio grew almost entirely through referrals. Today we bring strategy and execution under one roof. We build the right team around each engagement and keep the thinking connected from beginning to end.

I lead the vision and creative direction. The work is built collaboratively—because the best ideas usually are.
