Access Montgomery

Campaign strategy · Creative direction · Content · Event communications

Access Montgomery’s Small Business Awards is Montgomery’s premier stage for recognizing the entrepreneurs holding up the local economy. In its second year, we ran communications end to end including identity, nominations, finalist announcements, countdown content, day-of coverage and the story after. The room sold out.

“The Small Business Awards event is critical to highlighting the success stories of local entrepreneurs that keep our city running.” – Mayor Steven Reed

tROY uNIVERSITY

Editorial design · Writing · Interviews · Project management

Troy University’s Phenix City campus came to us with a goal: show the year, don’t tell it. We translated the reporting into things you can actually see — maps, polls, pull quotes, photography — and cut copy wherever a graphic could carry the point. We also ran the process, coordinating department heads, chasing material, folding in edits, and moving approvals through University Communications. Thirty-four pages, one voice.

“Phenomenal construction and design.”

The Alabama Collective

Positioning ·Brand Messaging · Website Design · Digital Presence

TAC came to us with a problem: their HBCU business pitch competition was drawing almost no applicants. We repositioned it from a buried flyer into something students wanted to enter — messaging built separately for students, partners, geo-targeted paid social, and outreach through voices those students already trusted. Entries went from two to 85, across nine HBCUs.
